About the Author

My husband and I raised our 2 girls on a horse acreage that sits on the edge of a small Southern Alberta town. Time has flown by and as much as I would love to stop it, empty nesting is the name of the game.

I work in Health Care, teach group fitness and find as much time as possible to enjoy my family, the outdoors and all things acreage living has to offer. Horses have always been a big part of our lives and I am thankful for all the blessings they have brought to my family.

My hope for all of my readers would be to have conversations about the feelings and actions that come from each page. Opportunity, gratitude, hope, support, hard work and friendship are just a few of the words that are silently expressed throughout the book.

My wish for all children would be for each one to have the supports in place that allow them the chance to act on healthy opportunities.
